1. Someone was killed in my neighbourhood last night. When I got to work and read the paper this morning, they had found a dead body a few blocks away from my apartment building. Sad thing is, it's not the first time. It was before I moved in, but apparently the park outside my kitchen window is nick-named the 'murder park' because someone was killed there a while back, and a friend of my sisters' lives in the house on the other side of the street where there was an axe-murder. Where the hell am I
living?
2. Note to self: when baking cookies, remember that the baking tin is hot when it comes out of the oven, and that touching it without an oven mitt will hurt your fingers. Ow, ow, ow.
