I'm back home again. My sister has spent the weekend. I tried to make her watch Misbegotten with me. It turned out something like this:

Sis: "Who's that?"
Me: "It's an evil albino space-vampire."
Sis: "Oh. Who's that?"
Me: "It's an evil albino space-vampire that's been turned into a human."
Sis: "Aha. Who's that?"
Me: "It's the cute Scottish doctor who turned the evil albino space-vampires into humans."
Sis: "Huh. Wait, who are those people?"
Me: "Those are the ex-evil albino space-vampires that the cute Scottish doctor turned into humans. They've lost their memory so they don't remember being evil albino space-vampires."
Sis: "Okay. I'm gonna go dye my hair now."

Some people have no taste in good TV-shows.

Hey, at least you got her that far. My sister would have flat out refused, stating al the reasons why Stargate was rubbish, and then whinged at me until I dyed her hair for her. You should count that as a victory.

Heh... actually, she did whine, but 9 o'clock Friday nights is dedicated to worship of the holy SGA. Everything else just has to wait.
