Oh show, why must you break me over and over again?

One more ep I can only sum up with Oh, Rodney! Okay, I can buy the Clone!Carson story, so I'm not entirely displeased. But still... Oh, Rodney! He need so many many hugs. Finding his friend (or, well, his friend's clone) alive, and then losing him all over again. This was exactly what I was afraid of! And the last scene made me cry. For real. It was just so... it didn't feel very hopeful. Like they were all trying to convince themselves that they would find the cure, while knowing deep down inside that they probably won't. Here, show, take my heart and stomp on it some more, will you?

Now all I can picture is Rodney, sitting in the stasis room, talking to Carson even though he can't hear him. And it makes me sad, show, do you hear?

Otherwise... Hi Halling, I missed you! And you look like you could use a cheeseburger.  Also, Michael's  bloody creepy, and needles with green stuff are never good. Keep them away from Teyla's baby!

I foresee a season finale with lots and lots of angst.

Stuff that made me feel at least a little better: I love it when Keller is competent and doing doctor stuff. I love it that Ronon seems to like her hair just as much as I do. I love that Joe F:s kids are adorable!  I love it when Rodney's all action-y and shooting at things! And I'm so, so glad that not all the Athosians have been turned into freaky wraith-zombies.


I think I need to go write some fluff now. Preferably about people giving Rodney hugs.

Sorry about that... It was just so sad and he's so in denial and needs hugs. *sobs*
