Okay, you know how this goes by now, (love show, yadda yadda yadda...) so I'll just get to it.

Where to begin? Oh, I know! Yay for Teyla!baby! But John, could you be more of a jerk? Okay, maybe you have other things on your mind but maybe you should consider treating your friends a little better?  At least Teyla has Ronon who's all nice and understanding (and wants her to name the baby after him. Heeee!)  Ah, well. I have a feeling Teyla won't accept being off active duty, and pregnant or not, she can still kick John's skinny (but oh, so pretty) little ass, so I'm guessing he'll change his mind. (And yeah, she should've told them long before. I told her so!)

Speaking of John. I really don't like Larrin, but she did tie John up and put him in the chair, all in one episode so I can forgive her for being annoying. Hey, do you know what would be really guh-inducing? To tie John into the chair! Oh, what a pretty pretty image...

Other good things: The whole Colonel, colonel, colonels, colonel colonel colonels, seriously? -thing. Pure love! Sam defending Rodney! Sam and Rodney being genius wonder twins! Rodney with the hands and that cute thing his slightly-too-long-and-ruffled hair does! The Wraith having to stun Ronon several times! Todd! (I really like Todd...) Super-cool space battle! Rodney and Zelenka banter! Rodney Rodney Rodney! And John tied into the chair! What, that wasn't in the episode? Hmmm... maybe just in my mind then. (Mmmmm....John tied into the chair. Naked. With Rodney having done the tying-up....)

So, Elizabeth is evil now? I assume she's evil because that was evil!music at the end. Sigh. I see much angst in the future. I thought we agreed that the boys deserve a break?

ETA: Okay, I get why John is pissed with Teyla, I really do. Because there's nothing more important to him than keeping his people safe and she kept her condition secret, therefore allowing John to put her in danger. Not to mention, Teyla chose the worst possible time to tell him, when he was all stressed out of his mind over other things and really didn't need something new to worry about. So I get it. But he still could've handled it better. And she could've handled it better. The whole baby-thing could've been handled better period

Yes! There is much squee-age to look forward to! (And a little not-so-squee. But that's another story.)

Just watched it - fab episode! "McKay's back" - oh, I can't tell you how much I love Rodney! Some great moments all round... plus some great McShep banter :) *happy sigh* But, poor Teyla (however, yay for Ronon!) and oooo, evil!Elizabeth... cep xxx

PS I seem to have started writing something involving John, Rodney and rope.... I'll keep you updated on progress, but have a feeling it'll all end rather smutily...

Heh... well, in Doppelganger, he thought a tripple barrel shotgun was a suitable toy for a kid so... maybe not.

John+Rodney+rope=OTP!

Actually, Teyla put the entire team into danger by keeping her condition a secret. There can always be complications, no matter how early (or imagine if she'd taken a kick to the stomach: blood and dead baby and possibly dead Teyla instead of Teyla a little winded), and John as a team leader needs to know that kind of stuff. I do get where Teyla is coming from; I'm sure that the Athosian women are a tough bunch where it comes to being pregnant and still kick ass, but what it all comed down to is that she had a duty to tell John about her pregnancy and didn't. Not as a friend, but as a member of his team.

I probably would have yelled at her, too. Of course, knowing the writers, now something bad will happen to her on Atlantis that causes her to lose the baby. Bet you ten bucks. *g*

Yeah, I know. This was my first reaction (guess I shouldn't post commentary the first I do after watching an ep...) and the more I'm thinking about it, the more am I siding with John.
Actually, it strikes me as a little odd that Teyla waited so long to tell them. I've always seen her as the one with the most common sense, and then she goes and does something stupid like this. I'm looking forward to see how it's going to play out.

I'm hoping against all hopes that Teyla's baby will be a non-wraithy, non-replicatory, healthy normal baby. But then again, this is Stargate so....
