Skiffy Awards winners announced.

The winners of the Skiffy Awards have been announced, slightly ahead of time.  My little Ronon snippet won second place with a grand total of 3 votes...the winner (liketheriverrun's Warrior of Oz, which is a beautiful story and totally deserved to win) got 4. Whatever. I'm celebrating anyway!

To the three people who voted for me: Thank you so much!

Other news...nothing much. I haven't written a word all day (unless you count two job applications and one application to a restaurant school). I'm broke. It's raining. I'm actually longing for snow. At least there's Regina Spektor to cheer me up.

Well, accordning to my contact person att the unemployment office, my applications are 'perfect'. Now if only my prospective employers could understand that...
She also told me I don't have to continue going to the job-hunting course because she thinks it's pretty meaningless for me to sit there. Yay, no more being bored to death when I'd rather do more interesting things!

No more job hunting course - that's great news! Perfect applications sound pretty good too... I'm sure something will turn up soon! In the meantime, you've got plenty of more interesting things to do... :)
