I'm going with my tried and tested NaNo strategy right now - writing at least 1k every day whether I feel like it or not, and I try not to edit while I write so I'll probably have a lot more work to do once the draft is finished...

Hah, that's exactly what I did last night and I managed to crank out a good bit. The problem is the endpoint is still so far away. :-( I think I'm going to have to cheat a bit and shorten the story more than I would like. I hope it won't look unfinished in the end!
