Oh, the girl power. Oh, the LOVE!

Okay, so I'm completely incoherent over this episode. But let me just say this: I'm so much in love with my girls! Teyla being competent and strong and smart and so worried about her people, and Keller being tough and conquering her fears and OMG shooting evil people in the leg!

I think what I love about Keller is the same thing I loved about Kaylee in Firefly. She's an ordinary person tossed into an extraordinary situation that she's just going to have to learn how to deal with. I still miss Carson like crazy, but it makes me feel a little better that he was replaced by such a genuinely likable person. Keller has a big pair of shoes to fill, but this far she's done a great job.

And Teyla was kicking so much ass! And we got to learn about her past and her people and the boyfriend and OMG the baby! I am so full of squee for the baby! Little brown Teyla-baby who will have his/her mother's eyes and hair and be adorable, and everyone in Atlantis are going to fight over the baby-sitting privileges, except for Rodney who will try to stay as far away from it as possible because babies are drooly and clingy, but Uncle Rodney will still be the one it will love the best. (Be still my ovaries, we can't have one of our own just yet. We need a dad/another mom for it first.)
