Help?

So... I wrote something. And I haven't written anything in three months so I'm hideously out of practice. Also this is my first try at H50 fic so I'm a little nervous.

Is there a kind soul out there who would be willing to look it over for me? It's very very short, roughly 800 words of Steve and Danno being cute and domestic.

I don't really know the new H50 although I've seen photos and seen some youtube clips of it. Did see original...oh that dates me! Think Alex O'Loughlin is so easy on the eyes!

I simply thought that as I've watched every single ep multiple times & fallen totally in love with Steve & Danny possibly seen an odd ep or two, & that as I have a passing knowledge of writing, I'd offer my services...

I've been ravenously DL eps and catching up on watching them the last few days and now whenever the theme song comes on, I bounce and dance. It makes me ridiculously happy for some reason. :-)

It's a very happy-making show! Just silly enough to be entertaining and it has banter and Team and there's a very big possibility that I have developed a slight obsession with Scott Caan's shoulders so I'm waiting impatiently for the episode where Danno follows Steves very fine example and takes off his shirt :D

Also, it's nice to be able to go to Hawaii for at least 40 minutes when the snow is knee-deep outside ;)

I'm seriously considering making it my ring tone as well! :-) I also want to see if I can track down the A-team for D--he was such a big fan of the original show. :-)

You're right, it has all the right elements for a fangirl's dream. I think it has enough of the boom-bang to catch the 'preferred demographic' eye as well. It's very lightweight and I think that is needed to counterbalance all the serious gloom and death shows out there. I just hope that's enough to keep it on the air.

Given the plethora of dark-themed (and darkly lit) shows out there, it was time someone gave us sun and fun with the guns.

Lightweight and fun is just what I've been looking for in a new Show-with-big-S! That and the Team aspect of course.

I get plenty of serious and angsty and gruesome from Criminal Minds and Supernatural and while I do love both of those, there are times when I have to save the episodes for when I have enough energy to deal with them. H50 is the perfect show to look forward to during a long, tough workday and then squee about on the 'net :)

I know what you mean--I adore In Plain Sight but I have to be in the right mood to watch it sometimes. (Of course, at the moment it seems to have disappeared off the air, despite the fact they say it has been renewed for another season...*scratches head*)

I'm enjoying the show much more than I thought I would after watching a random ep with D. I had to go back and watch them from the beginning to really appreciate it. Sadly, I don't think it's D's cup of tea, which means I'll have to find it and watch it on my own time. ;-)
