zinnithMy quest to catch up on Supernatural has begun! I have coffe, I have chocolate, I am ready to tackle this beast!
5x15 - Dead Men Don't Wear Plaid
First, allow me a brief moment of squee. Zombies! The boys getting busted by the sheriff! (I laughed, yes I did.) Dean eating pie! And then the rest of the episode was a huge Oh, Bobby! moment. And I just realised - Bobby's not going to live through this, is he? Show is going to break him and then it's going to kill him and this makes me so many different shades of sad because Bobby!
5x16 - Dark Side of the Moon
I think the line "When I come back, I'm gonna be pissed," says it all. It's not even 'if' anymore, it's 'when'. Here's the thing about TV-death. I hate when it's not permanent. I've said it before and I won't stop saying it. Resurrection cheapens death. When you've seen your favourite characters die and come back often enough, you just stop caring. It's all 'Oh, they died again. Yawn. Wonder what'll happen next week.' And yes, I know that the boys have their plot armour to ensure that they'll come back but I still wish Show would stop with the whole 'They're dead, no they're not' thing. Kill them and be done with it or let them live, just pick one and stick with it. That said, just let me squeal for a bit because ASH!!!!! And PAM!!!!! (Though Pam was way better when she was alive if I may say so.) So, God doesn't think it's his problem? Big surprise there, it's not like we didn't see that one coming from a mile away. But still, Cas' little heartbroken face at the end? I think he needs a hug. *sniffles*
5x17 -99 Problems
Hi Michael Shanks, I didn't recognise you at first! Nice to see you! But oh wow, Show. You really have a problem with women, don't you? 'On a good day you get to kill a whore.' Really? You went there? And the only way to kill her is with a stake? Why not just skip the whole symbolism thing and say 'the only way to defeat the evil woman is to penetrate her with the mighty penis' because, you know, that's what you're saying here, Show. And I Do Not Approve.
Also. Dear Cas, you really should stop adopting coping mechanisms from Dean. Worried love, Zin.
Oh, and Dean. Don't go do something stupid now, all right?
Ok. Need to go grocery shopping now, so more later. And please not to spoil me for the next two eps? Because I'm going to watch them as soon as I get home.
