OMG [livejournal.com profile] sgabigbang is LIVE!!!!

It's been six months, over 75 000 words, a lot of sweat and frustration. Now the result is finally available to the public. The site looks fantastic!

Hooke's Law is the latest instalment in the Entangled Particles 'verse.

Summary: Five years ago, Major John Sheppard read a novel and fell in love with the author, one M.R. McKay. His life has changed a lot since then. He might not be able to fly anymore, but he has a job he loves and he just moved into a new house together with his boyfriend. But not everything is perfect. Who is the crazed fan sending Rodney those deeply unsettling letters? Will the rest of the world conspire to tear down everything that matters to John? (NC-17)

I owe many thanks to my incomparable betas, [livejournal.com profile] the_cephalopod and [livejournal.com profile] wanted_a_pony, my proofreader [livejournal.com profile] yarnaddict, [livejournal.com profile] sgamadison and of course the rest of the almighty f-list and [livejournal.com profile] team_bigbang. You guys are the best!

The talented [livejournal.com profile] bellewhan made the most gorgeous art to accompany the story. There's this clever, amazingly detailed title page and also this beautiful drawing of the boys and Newton. Please take the time to let her know how awesome she is!

Now, where to find the time to read all these stories? *bounces in anticipation*

THIS.

And the fact that I am so gleeful at the moment that I am having a hard time settling down to anything...

I'm trying to read like, three different stories at the same time. I have not been very successful.

And I really don't have the time to read anything this weekend if I'm going to catch up with my NaNo wordcount again...

I have quit nano. I was killing me. (Though I haven't figured out yet how to officially quit...)

As for the 3 at once--that sounds terribly confusing but I can understand why you would be tempted. But really, just pick one, sweetie. Three guesses where I'm starting...

Aw, sorry to hear that... But I much prefer a living Madison to a NaNo-writing Madison *hugs* (There's no need to quit 'officially', all you have to do is stop writing. You can remove your wordcount if you don't want it mocking you. Or you can keep it if you want proof of your brave attempt!)

I ended up writing all my must-read stories down on little pieces of paper and picking one at random, so now I've read Bluespirit's heartwrenchingly lovely Solitary Man. It might be time for some sleep now since it's almost five in the morning where I am and feedback to loved stories should be coherent. Right?

Good night... *shuffles off to bed*
