You might already be familiar with NaNoWriMo - the place where mental writers from all over the world gather to write bloody awful novels each year. For those of you who are more interested in writing scripts, here's your chance!
ScriptFrenzy is a similar challenge to NaNo, but instead of a 50k novel, you write a 100 page script. In 30 days. Does it sound impossible? I assure you it isn't. A whole bunch of people did it last year! (Okay, so I dropped out... come on, I was sick, cut me a little slack here...)
So, what sort of script can you write?
Screenplays, stage plays, TV shows, short films, comic book and graphic novel scripts, adaptations of novels---any type of script your heart desires! They just have to add up to 100 pages, and be written between April 1 and April 30.
I'm not planning to participate this year since I'll be busy enough with
sgabigbang, but I really want to recommend the challenge. I had a lot of fun! Who knows, maybe some SGA-scripts will come out of it? *points at 'TV-shows' in quote above'
