The Glorious Twenty-Fifth of May
May. 25th, 2009 09:02 pmToday is, as I've already said, Towel Day.
What today also is, is the anniversary of The Glorious Revolution of the Twenty-Fifth of May. I'd almost forgotten about it until I started re-reading the book a few days ago.
Sir Terry Pratchett is one of my favourite writers and human beings, and a source of much inspiration. In 2007, he was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease. So, in Terry's honour, I'd like to drop a few links that you might want to check out.
For you Brits, I'd like to point you in the direction of the Alzheimer's Research Trust, of which Terry is a patron.
For my fellow Swedes, there's Alzheimerfonden.
And for my American friends, there's the Alzheimer's Association.
Just saying...
I wish I had the time to find the corresponding organisation for everyone on the almighty f-list, but you guys know how to use Google, right?
