Yay, history!

All right, I promised myself I wouldn't get my panties in a twist over the American election....

....but, ho-lee shit, am I relieved that Obama won! This means a lot to some of the people near to my heart.

Also, isn't it at least a little bit cool that the most powerful position in the world is held by an African American man? (I won't even rant about the fact that he is, in fact, a man. The female alternatives are both extremely scary.)
