Customer: "When are you going to come fix my TV? The channels haven't been working right for three days!"
Zin: "I'm sorry about that, it doesn't usually take so long to get a technian. I'll look into it immediately. When did you first report the problem?"
Customer: "Report? Do I have to report it? You should just know!"

I do not get paid enough for this.

Unfortunately, these people are much more common than you'd think. Them, and the ones who don't know their adresses and phone numbers. If we're lucky, they sometimes know their own names. *sigh*

I'll see yours and raise you one;) Someone calling to our veterinary clinic yesterday: 'I want to talk to a doctor!' My colleague picks up. Caller:'My dog was away for a while running after a bitch in heat with other dogs, and now he's feeling not so good. I want some medicine for him.'
My colleague, 'well, you have to birng the dog in, let me schedule an appointment for you.'
Caller:'No, I don't want to bring him anywhere, I just want medicine.'
Colleague explains in length, with patience, why dog needs to be seen (to find out what is ailing him, for example), about the medicines being different and possibly harmful if given blindly etc.
Caller, angrily, 'You want to extort money from me!'

Sometimes when I'm bored at work, I read Not Always Right just so I can be grateful that at least my customers aren't that bad. Then I get a call like this.
