1. Teyla stopped playing Sims after the truth about John and Rodney's game was revealed. Elizabeth had got her hooked the year before and she had enjoyed taking care of her virtual little people, make them happy and give them good lives. Intellectually, she knows that her game is just a game, that no matter how many buttons she presses on the computer it will have no consequenses in real life. It still leaves a bad taste in her mouth. What if...
2. Rodney misses his cat more that he wants to admit. That was why he was so happy when SGA-13 came back sooty and bruised from a mission on a doomed planet where the only living thing they had managed to save was a tiny not-quite-kitten. It had scratched Lieutenant Talbot, bitten Sergeant Fisher and made Staff Sergeant Garcia sneeze, so the team happily left the furry little thing in Rodney's care. Problem was, Garcia was not the only one allergic to it. After three days Carson refused to give Rodney any more antihistamines and the kitten found a new home with Jinto on the mainland. Rodney has decided not to try to get another cat. Loosing them hurts too much.
3. Sam knew that fruitbasket was really from Rodney. It surprised her a bit that Colonel Sheppard tried to pass the gift off as his own and she wondered why he was being such an asshole. To be honest, she couldn't make sense of Sheppard and Rodney's relationship. How could two people treat each other like that when they were on the same team, depending on each other for survival? After they encountered the crystal entity that tried to kill them all in their dreams, she stopped wondering.
4. The real reason Cadman broke up with Carson had nothing to do with Rodney. It was Carson's constant talking about his mother that irritated her and when she realised that she would always be the second woman in his life, she left. She didn't even cry when she got the news of his death. At the funeral, Rodney introduced her to Mrs Beckett, and Cadman wasn't at all prepared for this genuinely nice little old lady who hugged her and called her 'dear lass.' Cadman had to run out and hide behind the church when the tears began to roll down her cheeks and she finally allowed herself to grieve for Carson and everything they would never have together.
5. Lorne wants to paint Teyla naked. He's mesmerized by the colour of her skin, the lustre of her hair, the shadows over her cheekbones. It's not a crush - Lorne knows that she's way out of his league. It's his artist's eye for beauty that wants to capture her spirit and strength on a canvas. He will never ever let her know this. He's afraid that she would misunderstand his intentions.
(5b. If Lorne asked, Teyla would say yes.)
6. Sometimes, when Colonel Caldwell is off duty, back on Earth in the privacy of his own home, he wears women's underwear. The shiny satin kind, soft against the skin like a lover's touch. He can never really relax in them. He's too afraid someone will find out.
7. John has mentally named all the 'jumpers after his old girlfriends. Jumper Three, the fun but sometimes temperamental one, is Gina. Jumper One goes to such lenghts to please him that she's almost a little overbearing at times, she's Patricia. Jumper Eight, Mel, is cranky and he always has to plead with her to do what he wants her to do. Jumper Five is the only one that has remained nameless. After the amazing blowjob Rodney once gave him in the pilot's chair, it just feels wrong.
8. Dr. Keller is an addict. She's deeply ashamed of herself and she knows she should have better self-control. She's decided over and over again that this is the last time. She will quit, give it up, no matter the cost. But when the responsibility heaps on her shoulders, when people once again depend on he to save their lives and she feels the panic rising, she always finds herself turning to her secret stash. She unwraps the foil on a Hershey's kiss and pops it into her mouth. As soon as the sugar hits her bloodstream, she's calm again.
9. Radek had an enormous crush on Elizabeth. That's no secret. What most people don't know is that when it got really bad to be the leader of Atlantis, it was his door she came knocking on. She once forgot a necklace on his bedside table. He never got the opportunity to return it. After Rodney, Colonel Sheppard and Ronon came back from the Replicator planet without her, he began wearing it, hidden underneath his shirt. What hurts the most is that there's no one he can tell.
10. Ronon teaches Miko self-defense. She asked him because the marines scare her and he never teases her about her clumsiness and lack of physical strength. In return, Miko teaches Ronon Japanese calligraphy. He had something similar on Sateda and every time he holds the brush in his hand and paints the elegant symbols he feels an inner peace.
