Stuff and Doctor Who.
Apr. 19th, 2010 08:35 amI'm thinking about taking a break. I haven't written anything in a loooong time and I feel terrible about it, so I might as well make the hiatus official and take the pressure off. Right now I just want find my way back to that place where I write because it's fun and not because I have to.
Over to more interesting things:
So. My thoughts through the second half of the episode. 'Hm. That TARDIS self-destruct button looks a lot like a jam biscuit. It really, really looks like a jam biscuit. Doctor, you're not trying to bluff a buttload of Daleks with a jam biscuit, are you?'
Except he was. And then he ate it.
Matt Smith, forgive me for ever doubting you. This Doctor is awesome!
(He seems to be a little bit more violent than the previous one though... a bit more short-tempered too. Or maybe that was just because it was Daleks.)

Date: 2010-04-21 07:04 am (UTC)I find it strange that now the set for the TARDIS is bigger but whenever they film it, it looks smaller to me. Really. It's like all the gadgets they shoved in there cut down the space somehow.
That said, I sincerely and with all my heart hope not to see another Dalek until Matt's second year. Frankly, I'd rather not see them *ever again* but I know that's unrealistic. I find them boring. Loud, obnoxious and boring. Having them annihilate me would be preferable to listening to them scream their plans. I am only happy that they got them out of the way early on. Puleese let that be the case.

Date: 2010-04-21 09:46 am (UTC)I like Daleks :) Mostly because they look so completely ridiculous and they're still meant to be the most fearsome monster ever... But this week we get Weeping angels so yay!
