But really, just ask. If I've seen enough of it, chances are I'll give it a shot. I reserve the right to interpret all prompts to my liking :)

“Snowkiting? Are you insane? Why am I even asking, of course your are.”

Sometimes, it’s just too easy. Steve isn’t going to insist, not with Danny’s bum knee the way it is. It would be cool, but this vacation is for the both of them. Hardangervidda has plenty of things to offer, most of which does not include breakneck speeds.

Still, it’s too much fun riling Danny up. Steve grins, grabs his snowboard. The snow lies bright white and glittering. It’s just cold enough that their breath turns into little clouds of smoke. It’s going to be a good day.

Eeee, I'm one of the first five! I would like a snippet of John & Rodney, please, either in your EP 'verse or meeting/seeing/working with Steve & Danny somehow. :-D

I'll try to do the drabble-in-my-LJ thing (it should give the folks on my flist a severe shock! ;-) but it will have to wait a bit. I'm off in about an hour to take the DH to the hospital for an angiocath & possibly more, depending on what it shows. *sigh* And this was supposed to be his day off....

Looking forward to reading & liking your drabble when I get back!

Thanks for your good thoughts! L got a stent in a new heart artery &, although he still feels some annoying symptoms with his breathing at irregular intervals, that could also be due to asthma, allergies or anxiety. In any case, he dodged another (cardiac) bullet so I'm thankful & happy!! <3

John & Rodney meeting Steve & Danny

Only a hundred words for now because I like the challenge of the drabble format, but I'm pretty sure I'll write more about them in the future *g*


They didn't get to know each other well but John never quite forgot that Navy SEAL he was sent to pick up. He remembered the look on his face, the same lonely, hungry darkness that he saw every time he looked in the mirror.

Years later, he ran into Steve McGarrett again on a beach in Hawaii. John had managed to talk Rodney into a vacation. McGarrett had a loud blond guy and a kid in tow and the shadows in eyes were all but gone. John took Rodney’s hand and hoped that the same could be said for himself.
