This article actually made me want to cry, because I've heard this same story before from so many fellow fatties. I've lived this story. But this is the first time I've heard it from a sympathetic doctor, and if at least one person gets it, maybe there's a little bit of hope that more will follow.

You need a like button for this one! I'm in the same camp. All of my health problems would just magically disappear if only I would lose the weight. *sighs* Where did I put my wand again?

It makes me so very angry. I'm not denying that obesity can cause or aggravate health problems, but to use it as the default diagnosis for everything is just lazy and stupid.
