The 'woe is me, my life is so hard' department:

- I don't want to work today. I want to watch Leverage. Why is this day so looooong?
- The adapter to my laptop stopped working and I can't find the receipt. This frustrates me greatly.
- Someone in my building thought it was funny to turn off my dryer when I did my laundry. Now I have wet clothes hung up to dry all over the flat. The reason for why I use the damn dryer is because I do not have anywhere to hang wet clothes, damnit!

There is a special section in Hell (or maybe Limbo) for people who turn off dryers or take out laundry that isn't dry so they can put their clothes in. In this section, the offenders spend centuries laboriously cleaning clothes the old-fashioned way & hanging them to dry over lines strung between apple trees. Then cows wander into the orchard to munch on fallen apples. They knock the laundry onto the ground, onto the rotten apples & cowpies. And all the apples on the trees are as green & sour as the fallen ones are nasty. So there! >:->

Did you watch Leverage? Was it all you hoped? I'd hoped to see it for the first time but our household TV lottery didn't go my way....

Unfortunately, I didn't get to see Leverage due to broken adapter. Apparently my crappy replacement computer can't handle video :(

Yes, please feel free! Although now that I re-read it, I wonder if it makes it clear enough that the offenders have to go back & pick the laundry up out of the muck & re-wash it, over & over again. And maybe the fruit should be called Apples of Arrogance. ;-) Well, fell free to massage it....

Yeah, I still haven't seen Leverage. I thought I'd talked the Controllers of the TV into trying it, but they watched some other crappy pilots instead. (Actually one of 'em, The Gates, might have potential. It's about a newly-hired chief of police who arrives in an exclusive gated town &, in the course of investigating a dubious accident/disappearance, it appears that many of the residents are supernatural in some ways--vampires, werewolves, witches, etc.) I'm sorry about your computer. I'm so far on the trailing edge of technology that I don't have a clue about that stuff. I haven't even gotten around to updating my Windows XP so I can safely run Flash....

I can really recommend Leverage! I finally got to see it yesterday. It's not very deep and sometimes it fails hard, but it's a fun show :)

The Gates sounds interesting. I'm going to have to take a look!
