Ouch! That's a lot of water! Sorry to hear about your back - I know exactly how sucky that can be. Have you tried a shaktimat? Mum got me one some time ago and it's helped me a lot. It's like a modern bed of nails (I know, it sounds crazy, but it really works!) and it's good both for pain and stress relief.
