I discovered curling in 2006 when these lovely ladies won their first gold at the olympics in Turin. It's an extremely fascinating sport!

(Also, it's my firm belief that EP!John is a closet curling fan. Caleb got him hooked during a visit to Canada and Rodney has never really forgiven either of them since he's very much a hockey man himself.)

If it's not the UK, glad it's Sweden. It's kind of weird being able to cheer for two countries now. I fact, it's thrown me in to such a tizz I've not watched much of the olympics at all.

One of the guys at work tried to mock the Uk's siongle gold compared to Sweden's 5, but I had to point out that as the skeleton bob is so bloody terrifying that it couldn't for 5 others. Weirdly he wasn't convinced.
